The words get put together in a pattern, and within that pattern is a call to respond. They do it, they sing, they whisper, they scream and curdle. Words are magic, they spell the reader, the speaker, the writer.
The temptation they speak of will twist the recipient to the will of the words, embroil the living soul into a journey that takes the beholder far beyond the intent.
There could come a time to stop, to pause, to wonder – but if the words are set out in the proper magic of the spelling and shaping, the one who hears the lure will be hooked.
As I am … As I hope to always be …
Cage, I’m 1/3 done with the book. It’s really good. You are a storyteller indeed.

Thank you – I’m so glad you’re enjoying it (but if you find something you want to discuss, I’m very happy to hear about it! We’re forever learning, yes?). Cheers, and a happy new year to you and yours.

I really like the way you’ve woven nature and environmentalism into it, which I was expecting by the title.

It’s a bug in my ear/butt, so it had to be done … small things matter, don’t they?
… where to now?
I don’t think I could do another allegory – that one came out of deep recesses, but there are always underlying currents within story …
I’ll wait with bated breath to see what you think at the end.

They have had problems … they can’t go where they used to go – things are not the same; birds (and whales) get lost, lose their bearings …

And all the radio signals, all the magnets/megnetos/sounds that disturb aural frequencies … and we don’t really understand how animals know how to get around, so we don’t know what the effect of any of these things are.
